When is the dealine for entries to Proven In The Northeast?
The deadline is August 31, 2009, all entries must be postmarked no later than that.

Does it cost anything to enter?
Heck no!
Can anyone enter?
Yep! As long as the entered films footage is primarily shot in New England, and has some aspect of surfing, snowboarding or skateboarding in it.
What formats do you accept for entry?
We will accept VHS, MiniDV or DVD.
What formats can I shoot in?
You can shoot in any format you wish, as long as it is entered in one of the above formats.
What is the maximum length for Proven film entries?
7 minutes, including title and credits. Longer films may be entered but they will only be judged on the first 7 minutes.
Is there a minimum length?
Nope!
What types of films do you accept?
Pretty much anything, documentary, fiction, animation, experimental, action, suspense, mystery, as long as your entry adheres to the guidelines set forth in the rules section of this site.
Do I have to be a wicked awesome surfer/snowboarder/skateboarder to enter a film?
Absolutely not! Check out some of last years winners. Whether you are male, female, amateur or pro you can submit. Think you can do better than last years winners? Prove it!
Are there any other restrictions?
Your film must not have been in previous competitions or have professional distribution.
